The411 with Sherlene Shanklin:? Former NBA & University of Kentucky basketball star Derek Anderson along with Jordan Brand will host the Stamina NBA Skills Camp at Doss High in Louisville , August 1st through the 3rd.
?
Anderson will separate the players by age and grade levels to cater to their specific needs and skill set.? Youth in grades three through fifth will be in the 9 a.m. to 12 noon session.? Anderson's middle school pros will workout between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.? The high school pros will be in the last session of the day from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m? ?
?
The three-day camp will teach players the basic fundamentals of basketball.? Anderson and some of his special guests will also motivate the youth to think like a champion both on and off the court.? They will encourage them to think smart and to be an over achiever. The camp will discuss? with the young pros how their actions off the court reflect what they do on the court.? ?
?
This camp is for youth who really want to take their skill set to the next level.? Derek will give each pro personal instruction throughout the camp.? If you really want your child to participate, you need to enroll them pretty soon because there will be only 30 youth allowed in each session.? Derek wanted to make it intimate setting so that each "pro" get the attention they really need. ?
?
Registration for the Stamina NBA Skills Camp is $150 per child.? That includes a camp t-shirt, free Victory water, free autographed poster and pizza, which will be provided by Papa John's.? To register send your child's information and payment to Loyalty Media Group, 9700 Plaza Ave, Suite 208, Louisville, KY 40241. ?
